Before your South Hackensack move, separate the place the truck will load from the place your own car will stay overnight.
Does my resident parking permit reserve a loading space?
The township describes overnight resident permits for street parking from 2:00am to 6:00am, tied to a vehicle’s license plate. That does not establish a moving-truck reservation. Check the proposed loading arrangement separately. See South Hackensack Police: overnight parking.
Can a guest use my resident permit?
The township says resident permits are not transferable, apart from specified replacement vehicles. It describes dated guest permits separately. Who deals with a question about loading on my street?
The township Traffic Division handles parking enforcement and traffic control. Use its South Hackensack Police: Traffic Division guidance to identify the right department for your street question. For the estimate, provide the loading entrance, nearest intersection and any driveway limits.
